Good eye Tremayne. You are seeing my blending flaws for the mock up only. The full design actually eliminates all black from star field using a half-toning method, but when I shrank it down for the mock up the stars were less visible so I included the original star field image in the mock up. Plus Canvas must compress the jpg more because there are artifacts showing up which make the issue you mentioned more visible... Segue to another point: I have some advice for anyone doing any type of color gradient with black on a black shirt... work hard on getting the black out of your layer. If there is black in the layer, Canvas simply Blends the gray level on the layer to remove it. This can really hurt the design. For example look at my Return of Jesus design, then click on Buy Now to see it at C28.com They lost all of the gradient effects. I have since uploaded a version with no black in the design layer and hopefully they'll update it. Thanks for giving me a soapbox, Tremayne :)
Pretty nice, man. The only issue I see is that at the top of the star portion isn't blended in as well as the rest. Maybe you could have played around with the Blend, Color Selection, or Magic Wand options to eliminate the black background completely...leaving only the stars.
