Design description

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Romans 12:2

I agree with David Gaddy. That's how I've been doing it. The file size is smaller.

Don't know if this will help or not, but here is what I do. Once I have the design complete in the Canvas Template, I hide all layers except my design then merge visible layers (make sure NOT to save after this to prevent losing your layers). I then open up the Detail Image template and duplicate the design layer over to it. Then I resize the new layer appropriately, apply it to the mock up, etc. My Detail-Image.jpg is usually between 200-500 KB even when saving at quality 9.

Thanks, Charles and Troy! @Charles, I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying. When I create this design, I started in Illustrator, transferred it into a new document in Photoshop to apply the texture, and then placed it into the Canvas template document. Once it was scaled there, I then saved it as a PNG, opened up the Detail Image Template, and placed it in there. I think the reason it's so large is because the Canvas design template is so large. Does that make sense? I could have skipped placing it there but I wanted to make sure it was large enough. @Troy...I thought the green dot made it more interesting.

Very nice, Tremayne! Great color choice and design. I'm liking this one a lot! I agree with David, the new arrows are much better than the recycle arrows. My only question is, should the dot/period after the word "IT" be white instead of green? Still 5 for me. Your best work so far!

Solid design bro. When you save it, do you do "Save as..." or "save as web image" (or something like that)? If you save it in the latter form as jpg, you should be able to play with the "size" in percentage to make it a smaller file.

Very picturesque, as always! Good job, I like it and I would wear it. It would certainly get people's attention. ~ Christina

Thanks, ya'll! @Jimmy I couldn't put a model in this document because the file would have been too large. I usually have problems keeping the file in the 500kb range. It was really close to that as is. Was even struggling to fit the background design in because of the size. I think the reason my files are so large is because I save the shirt design as a PNG and then place it on the shirt. If anyone has a suggestion about that then let me know.

I think this is the best design you've done. It works a lot better with the arrows than the recycle symbol from the forums. 5 from me too.
